Our Mission & Leadership

Rock Hill Bible Fellowship Church is a multicultural, non-denominational body of Christian believers centered around missions, cell groups, and discipleship.

Pastor Ken Watson and his wife Diana are the parents of six adult children and grandparents of twelve.

Pastor Watson holds a B.A. Degree in Criminology from the University of Maryland and a Master’s of Divinity Degree at Columbia Biblical Seminary.

He formerly served as an Associate Pastor at Faith Community Church, Norfolk, VA, Area Director for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes in Hampton Roads, and the Director of Evangelism/Church Planting for Urban Discovery Ministries.

In cooperation with Urban Discovery Ministries, The Least of These Ministries and Westminster Presbyterian Church, Pastor Watson led the team which established Rock Hill Bible Fellowship Church in 1997, where he has faithfully served as Pastor for more than 25 years.

He serves as a National Conference speaker for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and is on the Board of Directors for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes National Football Ministry.

Pastor Watson is committed to the expositional preaching of God’s word and the proclamation of the gospel. He is motivated by the words of Colossians 1:27-28. “Him we preach warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.”

Elder Clyde Long and his wife Almetha are the parents of four children, grandparents of four and great grandparents of one.

Elder Long holds a A.S. degree from York Technical College and a B.S. degree in Chemistry from Winthrop University.

He served honorably in the United States Air Force. His professional experience includes Laboratory Technologist at Piedmont Medical Center, Environmental Lab Technician at Thermochem and the City of Rock Hill. He worked as an agent for Primerica and Vanguard Financial Services. He holds both Series 6 & 7 financial licenses.

His ministry experience includes Assistant Superintendent of Sunday School and Deacon at First Calvary Baptist Church in Rock Hill, SC. In addition, Elder Long has served as Deacon, Sunday School teacher and Cell Group leader at Rock Hill Bible Fellowship Church.

Presently Elder Long serves as Elder, Director of Missions and occasionally preaches at Rock Hill Bible Fellowship. He believes that Jesus the Christ has called all people who follow Him to go make disciples. Ephesians 4:11-16 informs us Jesus has given apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers to the church as gifts. These gifted people have the responsibility to equip God’s people for the work of building up the church, the body of Christ.

Anthony “Moses” Boyd and his wife, Christina Boyd have been married for two years and have a baby boy named Shepherd. God called Anthony to Himself when he was twenty-one years old. Though he was raised in the church, his lifestyle did not reflect that of a child of God. The Lord convicted Anthony and he repented. Shortly after his conversion, he spent a summer with Urban Discovery Ministries in Norfolk, Virginia where he discovered a passion for evangelism and teaching of God’s word.

Subsequently, Anthony served with Winthrop BCM as an Assistant Campus Minister for three years. The Lord grew in Anthony a love for pastoral ministry and the local church. He has served two other churches as a student and college pastor and completed two residencies through Park Baptist Church. Anthony desires to serve Rock Hill Bible Fellowship Church faithfully by praying, teaching the word of God, and loving the saints.

Servant Leadership

Missions

The Missions Committee of RHBFC aims to engage all members in fulfilling the Great Commission through various initiatives. These include enhancing mission awareness, planning annual short-term mission trips, and mobilizing members for active participation.

The committee also focuses on maintaining a global missions presence, supporting other churches in their mission efforts, and ensuring ongoing education and communication about world missions.

Join us in our mission to spread the Gospel worldwide by participating in our upcoming initiatives and supporting our dedicated missionaries.

Cell Groups

Our cell groups are at the heart of our fellowship. These small groups meet weekly in the comfort of members’ homes, creating a warm and welcoming environment for fellowship.

During our gatherings, we engage in thoughtful discussions about the week’s sermon, exploring its message and how it applies to our daily lives. These conversations foster spiritual growth and understanding, making our faith journey a shared experience.

These gatherings are more than just meetings; they are a chance to build lasting relationships rooted in Christ, love, and encouragement.

We invite you to join us and experience the warmth and connection that our cell groups offer.

Disciple Training

Our Discipleship teams foster growth and maturity in Christ with the intention of helping others grow.

Our discipleship training program is designed to empower you to fully live out the Great Commission. This transformative experience is structured around small, intimate groups of three people, where you will meet weekly to journey through a thoughtfully selected book series.

Each week, our groups come together to explore the teachings of the book, engage in meaningful discussions, and support one another in applying these lessons to everyday life. This close-knit setting allows for honest conversations, accountability, and encouragement, ensuring that each participant grows not only in knowledge but also in spiritual maturity.

Our goal is to prepare and empower you to live out the Great Commission, both within our church community and beyond.

Definition of a Disciple

We believe a disciple is one who has a lifelong commitment to follow Jesus Christ, relying on the Holy Spirit to enable him to love others, live out a Biblical worldview and sacrifice to equip others to do the same.
